The Foundation, in conjunction with Medical Social Services, is funding a grant to provide care packages to parents who have a child admitted to the Special Care Nursery. Admission to SCN can be stressful and unexpected. The package includes water bottles, Kleenex, hand lotion, onesies, socks, mittens, burp cloths, and bibs. This care package will help to provide additional support to parents during what can be a difficult time.

Midlands Gives

Lexington Medical Center Foundation provides hope for our patients and community! We need your support to raise critical funds for life-saving 3D mammography technology on Tuesday, May 7  during Midlands Gives, a 24-hour online giving event that raises money and awareness for local nonprofits.

This year’s Midlands Gives gifts will support the Campaign for Clarity, our effort to save lives through early detection of breast cancer with 3-D technology. With support from our community, we have been able to up-fit six LMC mammography units but need your help in funding the last two units in our network to ensure that all Midlands patients, regardless of where they live, have access to the best possible care available.
