4 more traffic deaths

• Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher identified John L. McCravy, 79, of Columbia as the victim of a fatal accident, Monday morning.

McCravy was traveling in the wrong direction on I-77 Northbound in Cayce, when he collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Ann-Marie S. Vargas-Kincade, 42, of West Columbia. She died on the scene.

• Dianne Sullivan Wells, 36, of Lexington died after she was hit by a vehicle in the 2400 block of Augusta Highway in Lexington early Tuesday morning.

• Leonard P. Morrow, 70, of Lexington died Sunday afternoon in a motor vehicle collision in the 5100 block of Platt Springs Rd., according to Coroner Margaret Fisher.

Morrow was traveling on a motorcycle when a vehicle crossed the median and collided with him head-on.

Morrow was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.

Child pornography charges

Dieter Karl Bartschat, 65, of Chapin has been arrested on 20 charges of sexual exploitation of a minor.

This is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigators with Attorney General Alan Wilson’s Office made the arrest.

Investigators with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, Homeland Security Investigations and US Secret Service assisted with his arrest.
