There was a great turnout for the Oaklawn Cemetery cleanup. This event was a joint effort between the Pelion Ruritan and American Legion Post 101. Members of Pelion Church of the Nazarene and the Methodist Church also came out to assist. We were able to completely finish one side of the cemetery, which included cutting tree limbs, cleaning years of old dried leaves and debris and removing vines from the fence. Another day will be scheduled to do the other side and all volunteers are appreciated.
