The Chronicle’s newspaper box has returned to the entrance of the Marc H. Westbrook Judicial Center in Lexington. The box was removed on an order by Circuit Court Judge Eugene C. Griffith Jr. for the duration of the death penalty trial of Tim Jones Jr. so jurors would not be exposed to the newspaper’s coverage of the trial. Jones was sentenced June 13 to death for the murders of his 5 children.
