A special prosecutor has accused Attorney General Alan Wilson of impeding his corruption probe.
Wilson dismissed prosecutor David Pascoe’s charge as a political hit job less than a month before his re-election bid for a 3rd term.
Wilson was accused of ties to political consultant Richard Quinn and his son, ex-House Majority Leader Rick Quinn of Lexington.
The Quinns became Pascoe targets and Rick Quinn resigned his House seat after pleading guilty to misconduct charges.
