RAINY DAY BLUES

Lexington County Blowfish general manager Theo Bacot sweeps a large puddle of water off the large tan field cover placed over the infield of Lexington County Baseball Stadium this past Monday. Incessant rainfall forced the postpone of 2 home games the past 4 days against the Florence RedWolves and Holly Springs Salamandars. As many as 15 Blowfish employees helped to place the tarp over the infield where 4 fans were placed underwent to speed up the drying process. The Lexington County Pancakes were scheduled to make their return this past Tuesday against the Macon Bacon. Lexington County was looking to improve upon a 2-4 overall record entering the Coastal Plain League South Division contest. See more Blowfish photos now on Page B3.
