The Gilbert High School competitive cheer team in the SC High School League Class 3A qualifier for Midlands and Lower State schools held Monday at Lower Richland High School. The Lady Indians, along with Brookland-Cayce and Pelion, will learn following Thursday’s Upper State qualifier at Chesnee High School which 12 schools will compete in the state final on Dec. 19 at the Florence Civic Center in Florence. The Class 4A qualifier is set for Wednesday at Irmo High School and the Class 5A qualifier is Saturday at Dorman High School.
