A reader and resident of Lexington reported she had gotten a call from a scam-mer. The scammer claimed to be able to reduce her Medicare premium and asked for her personal information.
Medicare will never call and ask for your personal details. If you get a call like this, hang up on the scammer and call Medicare to report the scam at 1-800-633-4227.
