Juniper Springs Road in Gilbert looks great thanks to Gilbert Scouts Pack 60. Last Saturday 23 Scouts and their Den leaders picked up 2 miles of trash. Final count was 12 bags of trash and 4 bags of aluminum cans.

This weekend Pack 60 Scouts will camp out at Mission Lake. On Saturday, June 5 the Scouts will have a yard sale at their Scout Hut at 713 Juniper Springs Road.

To donate yard sale items, please bring them Wednesday, May 26, or Tuesday, June 2, from 6 - 8 pm to the Scout Hut.

EACH FRIDAY our Gilbert Blessing Boxes are filled with non-perishable items. Hope Whittle Binkley says no donation is too small. You can stock the boxes yourself or she can pick them up. For information see Gilbert’s Blessing Boxes on Facebook.

GILBERT HIGH honored nurses Elizabeth Clark and Katelyn Field on National School Nurses Day May 12. Congratulations to GHS student Shelley Logan Gunter, recipient of the Doris Burkett Scholarship. She plans to attend the College of Charleston in the fall.

GILBERT ARTIST Candace Cotterman Thibeault held her successful open house last weekend. Her art students were thrilled their family and friends could see their artwork on display in the North/South Studio.
