Gilbert Pack 60 Scouts thanks the community for participating in Scouting for Food. Pack 60 had a successful collection of much needed items for local food pantries.

Several Pack 60 Scouts helped with the worship service during Scout Sunday at Pond Branch United Methodist Church.

The Scouts are selling Camp Cards to earn money to pay for their Twilight Camp, uniforms, Scout gear and more. The $10 cards offer discounts at local businesses. For information, contact Patricia Pound at 803-724-7073.

Pack 60 Scouts will end February with the annual Blue and Gold Banquet and celebrate the 90th year of Cub Scouts. The AOL Scouts will also receive their Arrow of Light awards and “crossover” to BSA. Then, everyone will enjoy dinner and the “silly dessert” contest. Scouts create their own dessert to show off their creative skills.
