Easter is coming, and so are the events surrounding its observance. Remember to drop me an email if you’d like your church or organization’s event featured in this space.

Red Bank United Methodist Church will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt April 6 from 11 am until 1 pm. There will be a bounce house-and face painting and the playground will be open. Bag lunches will be provided. This is open to ages 2 to 11, with different times set aside for the age groups to do their egg hunting. Contact the church at 359-4031 for more information.

This Saturday, April 6, Lexington County’s Solid Waste Management will hold a Recycling drop-off event April 6 in the main parking lot at White Knoll High School. County residents may bring electronics, paper to be shredded, hazardous household waste, pesticides, shoes, or even Goodwill donations. No business materials will be accepted, and no large appliances. Electronics are limited to eight items per household, including computers, printers, televisions, microwaves, phones, and other small appliance items. Paper is limited to five boxes or bags , and paint to eight gallons per household. This event runs from 9 am until 1 pm. Call (803) 755-3325 for more information.
