Serve casserole or take to a gathering

Here’s a recipe you need to clip and save because it is perfect for an Easter buffet when all your friends and relatives show up. Or you can take it along to someone else’s Easter gathering. The casserole is easy, easy to make and best of all, it tastes fresh and delicious.

Pineapple Casserole

2 cans (20 oz.) pineapple tidbits ¾ cup sugar

6 Tbsp. Flou

2 cups sharp cheese, grated

1 cup Ritz craacker, crumbled

½ cup melted butter

6 Tbsp. pineapple juice

Drain pineapple. Mix sugar, flour and juice. Add pineapple, butter and cheese; mix well.

Put in a 2-quart casserole. Bake in a 300º oven for 20 mnutes; increase temperature to 350º and bake 20 minutes more. Put crumbs on top and brown lightly under broiler.
