Lexington 4 students from Frances Mack Intermediate, Swansea High School and Swansea High Freshman Academy took part in the Palmetto Pride Cleanup Blitz Jan. 20. In only 2 hours, 177 volunteers collected over 5,000 pounds of litter along Highway 6 in Lexington County. Among other things, students found an x-ray of a knee, some furniture, and a wallet full of credit cards and identification which they turned in to their sheriff deputy.
