The Crusaders are having a memorable baseball season.

Already having set a school-record for consecutive wins, Northside Christian had a chance to win its 1st ever SCISA region title Tuesday at home against Orangeburg Prep.

Toccoa Falls College-bound senior Charlie Compton drove in 2 runs and struck out 4 in 4 innings to lead the Crusaders in this past Friday’s 12-2 win over Thomas Sumter.

McMillan praised Compton’s recovery from a back injury suffered from football that kept him inactive the 1st 3 weeks of the season.
