LadyCouch (concert)
The Nashville Nights concert series at Steel Hands Brewing (2350 Foreman St. Cayce) rolls on with a full-band performance by LadyCouch. This 12-piece Nashville collective straddles boundaries between Southern jam-rock, electric blues and much more. A local opener kicks things off at 6 p.m., and singer/songwriter Michael Haney hosts the evening. There will be food and drink specials, including Nashville Hot Chicken and Sweet Tea Ale. Blue Dogs (concert)
The beloved Charleston rockers, The Blue Dogs, will perform at Icehouse Amphitheater (107 W. Main St. Lexington). The group, led by singer/songwriter/guitarist Bobby Houck, plays their catchy blend of acoustic country-style folk and electric rock starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25. Zumba Party
Irmo Community Park (7507 Eastview Dr. Irmo) invites you and the family to their Zumba Party. Not only is it a fun way to exercise, but you can also contribute to a worthy cause while you’re there. Bring school supplies to donate to Sharing God’s Love Crisis Ministry, Irmo SC. This event is free to attend and runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., so you won’t have to worry about beating the heat.

Sunset On The Shoals
Saluda Shoals Park (5605 Bush River Rd. Columbia) invites you to enjoy an evening on the water at their Sunset On The Shoals event. Enjoy a guided paddle tour on the Saluda River and learn about the unique history of the area, followed by a wine tasting. You can even take home a complimentary Saluda Shoals Park wine glass to commemorate the evening. This event is for ages 21 and up and runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $47 per person. Native American Lifeways
12,000 Year History Park (1120 Ft. Congaree Tr. Cayce) invites you to a fascinating historical journey with their Native American Lifeways guided hike. Walk the trails at the 12,000 Year History Park and learn more about the role of Native Americans here and how the resources of the park are relevant to the lives and culture of Native peoples today, including the Cherokees and Catawbas. The McKoy Family Band (concert)

Ray Greene (concert)
Chayz Lounge (607 Meeting St. West Columbia) and singer/multi-instrumentalist Ray Greene presents “An Evening of Rhythm & Songs.” Green, a former vocalist for Tower Of Power and Santana, performs hits and classics by Maxwell, Sade, Michael McDonald, Kem, Journey, Frankie Beverly and more. Toucan Tuesday
The Riverbanks Zoo & Garden (500 Wildlife Pkwy.) launches Toucan Tuesday once again for the Summer months. Guests visiting Riverbanks get buy-one-get-one admission to the park with the donation of two cans (or bags and boxes) of non-perishable food items for Harvest Hope Food Bank. Tokyo Joe (concert)
One of Columbia’s most popular rock bands continues their Wednesday night residency at O’Hara’s Public House (131 E. Main St. Lexington). The Columbia Museum of Art invites you to Boyd Plaza (1515 Main St. Columbia) for a session of Gentle Morning Yoga. Start your day with a gentle yet invigorating yoga session for those who want to enjoy the practice at a slower pace to support movement patterns, mindfulness and overall wellbeing. Mats and chairs will be provided. This class is taught by Kate Murphy, a local yoga teacher with training in accessible yoga and mindful resilience. Gentle Morning Yoga runs from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. It’s a free event, but registration is required at columbiamuseum.org. Ages 13 and up only; no unaccompanied minors.

Gills Creek Memorial Park (24 Forest Lake Pl. Columbia) invites you to their Picnic In The Park concert series on Friday, Aug. 9. Time to glow up and come out to Revelry: A Famously Hot Pride Gala at 1208 Washington Place (1208 Washington St. Columbia) on Saturday, July 10. The event is the newest addition to SC Pride’s calendar. Join host and MC Carmen Carrera for an outrageous evening filled with live performances and an atmosphere that promotes individuality, fun and, of course, pride. The Baltimore rockers Pinkshift play New Brookland Tavern (632 Harden St. Columbia) on Monday, Aug. 12. The band, who cites bands like Nirvana, Arctic Monkeys and No Doubt, also mixes a bit of emo punk-pop into their sound. Showtime is 6 p.m. and tickets are $16.
