Saturday’s storm put out the lights in 31,000 Lexington County homes. It left another 22,000 in the dark in Columbia and Richland County. The storm snapped trees and killed at least one person in Columbia. No death or injuries were reported in Lexington County. Wind gusts of up to 79 miles an hour were reported.
