The American Legion Post 7 held its first official Flag Disposal Ceremony in nearly a year and a half earlier in July with more than 100 flags honorably burned. About 45 members, friends, and neighbors joined the outside ceremony with the Lexington County Fire Service on hand. Most stayed for the program on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier presented by Commander Griffith. Their next meeting is scheduled for August 14th at 7 pm with the Auxiliary meeting at 6 pm.
