The free thinkers at the Boston Globe opened a can of worms last week.

Their proposal was for editors to publish editorials defending the left wing media from “assault” by our President.

President Trump has called what they practice “fake news.”

It’s really “tailored news” that ignores anything that puts the President in a favorable light and blames everything that’s ill about our society on him and his right wing policies.

That’s what we get from CNN, MSNBC, the TV networks and the elitists in New York, Washington and on the Left Coast.

We expect this will further delude the already deluded and confirm for the rest of us that it’s just more leftist propaganda.

A right thinking editor wrote me that “We’ve never in our lifetime seen such blatant bias in the so-called mainstream print and broadcast media.

“I guess it’s not so obvious to the never Trumpers who still can’t come to grips with the fact that he is our duly elected President. During the recent immigration fiasco of parents and children being separated at the border, it was 91% unfavorable news toward the administration.

“You are exactly right about the fact they ignore any news that would make Trump look good, like the surging economy, low unemployment rates and tax cuts we are all enjoying.” What is worrisome are liberal professors and teachers who have given us the liberal journalists we see today.

Our universities have become liberal indoctrination camps for future generations of journalists

CNN and MSNBC are jokes, but they do damage by distorting reality and sowing seeds of discord in our country.

This indoctrination is right out of the Marx-Lenin playbook.

Let’s hope these kids will grow up, become realists and look back on their misguided idealism for what it really was.

We believe that if we can survive wars like those in 1776 and 1861 – pitting family members against each other – we’ll survive this, too. Americans can survive a little dissent.
