The South Carolina Fire Safe Community Risk Reduction Program with the State Fire Marshal’s Office reviewed the do’s and don’ts of fire safety at Columbia International University last week. They held a real flame demonstration of 2 living rooms set on fire. Students learned how simply closing your door, listening to the smoke alarm and installing a sprinkler system could be the difference between life and death in a fire.
