The White Knoll Timber-wolves sports teams thrive on community support and, even without football, there are plenty of games and teams in action currently.

Tonight, the Freshman and Junior Varsity Boys basketball teams take on Lexington High School at home at 5:30 and 7 pm. Tomorrow night, the Boys Varsity Wrestling squad is at Dutch Fork High School for a conference match-up, while the Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball teams play at Lexington High School at 6 pm. Monday and Tuesday the basketball teams travel to Chapin to take on the Eagles in conference games, the lower teams on Monday and the varsity squads on Tuesday. Lexington Church of God is hosting a little girls’ Tea Party January 26 at 11 am. for girls 3 years old through 5th grade.

Also, parents may want to note the church’s quarterly Parents’ Night Out is coming up February 1, 6-9 pm. Children from 4 years through 5th grade are eligible. Drop them off with the church and the fully background-checked volunteers and they’ll feed and entertain the kids at no cost to you. Lexington Church of God is at 1331 Nazareth Road. Call (803) 957-6675 for information on these events.

Red Bank United Methodist Church recently upgraded its website, and with that improvement comes some extra features. They are now live streaming the church’s 11 am worship service at www.rbumc.com . All services can also be accessed afterwards on the church YouTube channel.
