Lexington Town Council hopes to invest $250,000 in small businesses in the next 30 days.

Town Council passed a dollar-for-dollar rebate program aimed at benefitting both customers and in-town businesses. In-town water and sewer customers can send in receipts from money spent at in-town businesses to receive a rebate of up to $25 on their Town of Lexington utility bill.

Receipts must be dated on or after May 5, 2020 and must be sent in or postmarked by June 30, 2020.

Receipts can be emailed to Rebate@lexsc.com or mailed to Town of Lexington, Rebate, PO Box 397, Lexington, SC 29071 and need to include a name, service address and phone number.

A list of eligible businesses can be found at https:// www.lexsc.com/DocumentCenter/View/1096/ In-Town-Business-List-05-05-2020, which is also accessible on the Town’s website lexsc.com.

For questions, the public can contact 803-951-4630.
