AllSouth Federal Credit Union donated a record number of gifts to the 2018 Vet’s Christmas Charity Ride.

AllSouth employees and members donated over 5,100 gift items including blankets, clothing, and toiletries plus $650 in cash.

Patients at the Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center and VA-sponsored homeless shelters will benefit from the donated items.

Thanks to the generosity of AllSouth’s employees and members, there were enough donated items for every vet at the Dorn VA hospital this year to receive a gift. These contributions will make the Holidays brighter for our Veterans.

The Vet’s Christmas Charity Ride was founded in December of 2000 by retired Army Sergeant Major Jim Wertman, the general manager of Carolina Honda; Gene Royer, business owner of All American Heating and Air, and member of South Carolina Gold Wind Riders Association; and Earl Small, Jr, owner of Carolina Honda.
