Wagener-Salley High School celebrated Senior night on Oct. 29 before the start of the final home football game of the regular season. Five senior football players and three cheerleaders were announced to the crowd. The football players were Braley Wallace, Merik Gardner, Xavier Johnson, Louis Reaves and Jamari Stroman. Cheerleaders honored were Trinity Ables, Madison Lawson and Alissa Perkins. ROTC Cadet Jakryn Harvey, band members Shateria Edwards and Lance Brown were also honored. The Gaston Christmas Parade will be on Dec. 11. The parade will start at 10 a.m. at Frances Mack Intermediate School, which is located on Gaston Street.
