Don’t forget the summer reading event going on at the Pelion Library through August 8. After completing any 5 challenges, you can visit the library to pick up a prize. For every 5 challenges completed, you will be entered for a grand prize drawing.

Thomas Ray Corley received the Iris Garden Club Lisa Rucker Memorial, Noah Kneece the Pelion Young Farmer and Ruritan scholarships. Bryce Payton Hunter received the Palmetto Fellows scholarship.

William Jake Jeffcoat received the Furman Athletic, US Air Force Academy, US Military Academy at West Point Athletic and the Wofford College Athletic scholarships. William will attend West Point.
