The Quail finally got to rest after a hectic past week.
I visited with a few friends at the Hen House Ministry Wednesday. If you are not familiar with this group, it is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that sells quilts and other handmade items.
Each spring and summer they raffle off a handmade quilt. The fall raffle is coming up. To get tickets call 1-803-568-5499.
The Wagener Town Council passed the new animal control ordinance on feral cats 5-0.
For a copy of the updated ordinance, call 1-803- 564-3412.
At this meeting, I was able to talk with Michelle Donlick who runs the Avalo Cat Sanctuary off Rawls Mill Pond Road. She invited the Quail to visit and see the work she does. I look forward to this visit. Until next week, fly safely my friends.
