Who should we blame?

Several federal agencies are doing all they can to drive up the price of gasoline, and it’s working.

Now the Federal Trade Commission says it will investigate collusion between fuel retailers. This is an obvious attempt to shift blame to oil companies for high prices caused by numerous bureaucratic actions to enhance the attraction of electric vehicles.

After subsiding the heck out of renewable generation projects, state and federal governments are destroying the economics of nuclear generation. So, the proposed government solution is not to let that market voodoo work, but to now subsidize sitting nuclear plants.

That’s a government solution to a government-created problem. The shadows on the cave wall are getting confusing.
