What legislative board properly oversees the SC Pension Board, Ports Authority and Department of Transportation?

Now add the state-owned Santee Cooper utility to the list of those which are supposed to be under “State oversight.”

There’s a major lack of accountability from state agencies but the ones listed above have billions of dollars of potential liability to our state taxpayers.

Are lawmakers again “kicking the can down the road” by adding Santee Cooper to this list? They should sell it.
