Will the government take your money?

Posted

I continue hearing concern about what happened in Cyprus and Greece. Their government reached into their banks seizing or freezing – not much difference – then “taxing the rich.” All of this was tied into massive government debt with no realistic ability to “service their debts.”

And I continue hearing and reading about Janet Yellen, the activist who is pushing to create a One World Tax on internationally operating companies - 15 to 39%, These fees will never roll down hill to “those who can afford to pay” of course.

Note the books written about the World Bank loans and indebtedness games keeping African nations sucking for air to breath. Now our Janet is pushing for these United States to dump the greenback in favor of an authorized cryptocurrency, a blockchain digital currency. That will spin wheels but the purpose is to easier intertwine our “currency” and debts of all countries.

That’s fiat government-issued currency that is not backed by a physical commodity, such as gold or silver but rather by the government that issued it. The value of fiat money is based on from the relationship between supply and demand and the stability of the government, rather than the worth of a commodity backing it as is the case for commodity money.

Most modern paper currencies are fiat currencies, including the U.S. dollar, the euro, and other major global currencies.

Fiat currency could interlace worldwide with countries that were conned into involvement with the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative/

The question begging Janet’s answer is like whether oil and water will ever mix?

My brother is buying gold and silver. Others say buying land via Real Estate Investment Trusts keeps value when the government starts raiding banks for money.

If the French are willing to use military force to get their people out we should join the effort. Why not a joint coalition of the willing effort to get everybody out who honorably served along our side?
