Women’s Night Out supports breast cancer survivors

Posted

On Tuesday, October 16, the Lexington Medical Center Foundation welcomed more than 850 guests to the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center for the 10th annual Women’s Night Out.

This sold out event was supported by 38 sponsors from throughout the community and included a silent auction, Physician Fair with 24 LMC practice booths and a runway show featuring 10 breast cancer survivors as models.

Ariella Hughes, two-time breast cancer survivor, shared her inspirational story of how to “Live Beyond Better.”

Special thanks to Dr. Henry Marion of Lexington Family Practice Northeast and Columbia, South Carolina-based saxophonist Dante Lewis for providing live music at Women’s Night Out. Dr. Marion has also been playing at Soda City Farmers Market the last few months and raised $773.95 in tips for the Campaign for Clarity, supporting life-saving early detection through 3-D mammography technology.
