Lexington County funeral homes are arranging delayed memorial services for families and friends.

Funeral services have been held remotely for deceased loved ones by Caughman-Harman Funeral Homes and Woodridge and Thompson Funeral Homes.

Due to covid-19, group services have been considered unsafe.

“Families are already planning memorial services later this summer or early fall,” said Daisy Harman of Caughman-Harman Funeral Homes.

She also said the funeral home’s popular Memorial Day services have been cancelled due to the virus but may be rescheduled later in the year.
