A young woman was rescued Friday from the Congaree River near the Blossom Street Bridge and has been transported to a local area hospital. The rescue was a combined
The rescue was a combined effort between the Cayce Department of Public Safety, the City of Columbia Police and Fire Departments and the City of West Columbia Police and Fire Departments.
The Cayce Department of Public Safety and the City of Columbia deployed their Swift Water Rescue Units during the rescue efforts.
