8-DAY SLAW

1 large head cabbage, shredded 1 large onion 1 large green pepper 1 cup sugar 1 cup vinegar 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 Tbsp. salt

Shred cabbage into large bowl. Shred or slice onion and bell pepper over top of cabbage. Sprinkle sugar over all. DO NOT TOSS!

Combine other ingredients in sauce pan and bring to a boil. Pour, while hot, over cabbage, onion, and pepper. DO NOT STIR! Cover and refrigerate overnight. May be tossed when ready to serve.
