Chronicle Advertising Manager Linda Saul’s 90-year-old mother, Vienna Lundy, has made it her mission to join Seamstresses With a Purpose. She has made 100 masks for family, medical workers, school teachers, and anyone in need at her home in Lexington. Her masks have gone to emergency workers in New York, Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Richland and Lexington Counties. Her other daughter Kathy Watts does all of her mother’s shopping and other errands so she doesn’t have to leave her home. Linda laughingly says Kathy is “holding us hostage” during the pandemic.
