The Lexington High School softball team will hold 2 fall camps for 1st through 6th graders

Each of the 1-day camps will run from 9 am to noon and emphasize the fundamentals of softball, hitting and fielding. They will take place Sept. 25 and Oct. 16.

The cost is $50 per camp or $80 for both camps and participants are advised to bring their gloves, cleats, hel met and water bottle.

Hall of Fame Game Set

The Sept. 24 “Battle of the Bam” between Lexington and Irmo will feature a halftime ceremony for the Class of 20 Lexington High School Athletics Hall of Fames.

This year’s inductees are:

•Maureen Dunnagan Harmon (golf 2004-2010)

•Drew Harris (cross-country, track and field 2004-2010)

•Josh Reagan (baseball 2011-2013)

•Lauren Stephenson (golf 2009-2015)

•Brian Foulks (basketball, football 1990-93)

The selections were made in June 2020 and pushed back to this year. Due to the current circumstances of covid-19, all pre-game festivities and cancelled and the ceremony will be shortened to the halftime presentation.
