The Town of Lexington celebrated South Carolina Arbor Day Dec. 9. The planting of a Red Oak at the corner of Maiden Lane and South Church Street continues the beautification enhancements of the One-Way Pair Project. South Carolina Arbor Day has been held annually since 1934 and helps mark the beginning of planting season in the Palmetto State.
