Are we in for more illegal alien fraud?

Rep. Ted Yoho of Florida responded to something I wrote him about. His letter said he is focusing on “fixing” the immigration law problems of agriculture.

I told him of several farms in southern Lexington County that have successfully used the H1 and H2 non-immigrant work permits. Saxe Gotha and other Presbyterian churches have had a migrant ministry for many years. I participated. The church could be a conduit of contacts. I pointed Yoho to ‘the fruit growers news’ which explores agricultural labor issues.

I see where the Democrats in Congress have introduced what seems from the title to mimic the ‘Seasonal Agricultural Workers Act’ of the 1990s. That did nothing except allow all the taxi drivers and yard boys in New York, Houston, Los Angeles and elsewhere to get green card legal status, by paying farmers to falsify claims of having worked in the fields for about a month a year for 3 years. I processed files of criminal aliens who were improperly naturalized as US citizens under Bill Clinton’s program of “we don’t have time to wait for FBI fingerprint checks before I get re-elected.”

Examiners knew the petitions were fraudulent, said so in the file as well as how they were ordered to approve legalization because there was no help to document the fraud and prosecute the violators.

You may wish to get out in front with a ‘local story’ not forgetting illegal alien workers in Mexican restaurants.
