If you are interested in displaying your crafts at the Pelion Peanut Party, get information at peanutpartycrafters@gmail.com. If you are interested in running the 5K race, contact woodymoore0407@gmail.com for details. There will be lots of new and interesting things to do this year at the annual Peanut Party so mark your calendar for November 2 and 3.

Pelion Library will host North of 50 on August 28 at 11:15 a.m. for ages 60 and up. Get connected with engaging programs designed specifically for senior citizens including workshops, crafts, games, and much more.

Yarn Art will be August 25 at 10 a.m. for ages 13 and up. Wrap yourself around knitting, get hooked on crochet or tied up with macramé. Beginner and advanced crafters are invited to share ideas and learn new skills.

Pelion Senior Center

will have a guest speaker August 21 at noon from the Carolina’s Center of Medical Excellence. Games this week include ring toss and pool with exercise daily.

The S. C. Egg Art Guild recently met with members making over 60 goose egg ornaments and 45 quail ornaments. It was a totally fun way to spend a day!
