The SC Egg Art Guild meets each month to make exquisite decorated egg shells. The guild uses a variety of shells, including quail, button quail, goose, duck, rhea, emu and ostrich. This month the group used shea shells. A new technique has been learned at each class this year. This month the students learned how to use filigree to make a tall tree to place in the ‘garden’ inside the egg. Other new techniques have included making sculpey clay flowers to decorate an egg and using paper to make a 3-D swan door.
