Three local kids have a chance to make their hometown proud.

Blakey Mendenhall, Luke Shealy, and Christopher Unumb will represent Lexington in the Farm Bureau Annual Meeting talent program Dec. 1.

South Carolina Farm Bureau is the state’s largest general farm organization.

It was established to help keep family farms in business, to keep rural lifestyles thriving, and to keep food production local.

Young people from across the state will participate during the annual meeting in Myrtle Beach Nov. 29-Dec. 1.
