Lexington Medical Center will host a recruiting event called “Nurses Night Out” Wednesday, Oct. 16, in Columbia.

Representatives from Lexington Medical Center’s nursing leadership and the hospital executive team will speak with nurses about the hospital and employment opportunities there.

There will also be music, food, a photo booth, giveaways and a grand prize drawing.

All nurses who would like to attend should text “RSVP” to 972-11 by Oct. 11 for details including the location.

This spring, Lexington Medical Center completed the largest hospital expansion in South Carolina history, opening a new 545,000 square foot new patient care tower on the hospital’s campus in West Columbia.

Lexington Medical Center also operates 70 physician practices throughout the Midlands.

In 2020, it will open an Urgent Care at Saluda Pointe near the intersection of Highway 378 and Interstate 20 as well as a new medical building in Northeast Columbia.
