The window to apply to work for the Public Service Commission has closed.

The PSC has jurisdiction over investor-owned electric and gas utilities, water and sewer companies, telecommunications companies, carriers of household goods and hazardous waste for disposal, taxicabs and other passenger carriers.

They are paid $129,482 a year.

The following persons have applied as candidates for the South Carolina Public Service Commission: District 1:
