The Greater Cayce West Columbia Chamber held its 2019 Breakfast Business Expo July 23 at the Lexington Two School District’s new Innovation Center in Cayce. The Expo gave businesses the chance to network with each other and present services and products to potential customers.

“The vendors loved the location,” said Richard Skipper, the Chamber’s executive director. “We hope to have it here every year.”

The City of Cayce has announced a very special exhibit, honoring the members of the 1964 Cayce Dixie Youth Little League World Series Championship team. It is coming to the Cayce Historical Museum beginning 3 pm Aug. 16.

The West Columbia Police Department is requesting assistance from the community in identifying a male suspect.  Walgreens, at 1537 Charleston Highway was the victim of an armed robbery July

14. The suspect entered the store and demanded money from the register. He is described as a male in his late 20s or early 30s, thin build and approximately 6’2” tall. He was wearing a black shirt with a design on the front, a dark hat, dark pants and rectangular style reading glasses. He is believed to be driving a dark Chrysler sedan. Notify the West Columbia Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-Crime-SC.
