What a difference a few days made for the Lexington softball and Dutch Fork baseball teams.

The week started with both teams looking to get off the mat after crushing Game 1 losses in their respective best-of-3 S.C. High School League championship series.

By Saturday morning, the Lady Wildcats, the Silver Foxes and their fans were still celebrating deciding game victories each won by 1 run a night earlier.

Lexington rallied from 3 runs down to defeat J.F. Byrnes 6-5, while Dutch Fork held off Blythewood 2-1.
