Dr. Lachin Hatemi of Veritas Health Group has been a valuable resource.

He helps keep our readers up to date on the pandemic.

They were one of the first medical practices to test for covid-19 in Lexington.

Veritas is currently the only private practice doing so.

Supplies and personal protective equipment are running short.

N95 face masks were in short supply right after the outbreak.

One supplier told Dr. Hatemi he could only get what he bought last year.

But Veritas opened in late 2019, and he was not able to buy any N95 masks.

Luckily, he found another supplier.

When his patients heard about the shortage, they came in with bags of masks.

Now it is difficult to find clinical gowns and gloves.

The Veritas staff are using large trash bags as gowns.

Cleaning supplies have also been scarce due to hoarding supplies.

Once again, loyal patients donated cleaning products to Veritas.

It is a grand testimony to doctors and staff putting their health and life on the line.

We thank them for their dedication to keeping us alive and well.
