US-Israel military technology cooperation bill

Congressman Joe Wilson has proposed an anti-terrorist technology bill.

The Springdale Republican was joined by 2 Democrats, Brad Schneider of Illi nois and Stephanie Murphy of Florida.

The bipartisan US-Israel Military Technology Cooperation Act would create a technology working group to share intelligence to overcome current and future threats.

“The United States has no better friend in the Middle East than Israel,” said the Congressman who has frequently visited the country.

“Our two nations face a number of evolving vulnerabilities,” he said.

“It is critical that we strategically work together to eliminate technology gaps when confronting common enemies.

“Further strengthening our already robust defense coordination to ensure we are on the cutting edge of research and development is a matter of readiness.

“It will be achieved through the establishment and implementation of this working group.”
