I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped with the clean-up at the walking trail. Mayor Frank Shumpert reported last night at the council meeting that the county will assist with clearing some heavy trees along the walking trail.

Chief John Rebolj reported that the Pelion Police Department has a 93.8 closure rate on cases they receive. Great news for our PPD.

Town Council meets every second Thursday and all residents are urged to attend.

CONGRATULATIONS to Pastor Jerry Branham as he retires as pastor of the Pelion Church of the Naz arene. He will continue to be chaplain for the Pelion Police Department and the Pelion Ruritan Club. Everyone wishes Pastor Jerry lots of love and the best in his retirement.
