Lexington County Treasurer Jim Eckstrom received the Harry O. Harman Award at Saturday’s meeting of the Lexington County Republican Party. The award, named for longtime coroner Harry Harman, is given to the elected official who most exemplifies selfless public service. Eckstrom has been Treasurer since 2008.
