A European-style bakery has opened at 5076 Sunset Blvd. in Lexington.

Owner DJ Stone has been baking since age 9 and lived for a time in Europe. 3 years ago he started with a trolly bus to serve baked goods at events and work sites.

In April, Stone and his wife Teresa opened the Blended Bakery to support the trolly but right after that the trolly’s engine blew. And then covid hit the county.

Now they are open Tuesday to Saturday serving pastries, cinnamon rolls, their own sour dough bread, homemade cheesecake and sandwiches. They even have low carb gluten free bread for the health-conscious.

Everything is made from scratch without extras that cause allergic reactions.

Hours are 10 am - 6 pm and 10 - 2 for brunch.
