Congratulations to Mark Bellune for the journalistic courage of his articles about vaping in the Lexington County Chronicle.

I was inspired by his courage, instructive qualities and inspirational tone.

Without equivocation, I honestly believe they represent Pulitzer Price material because they warn about a lethal brokenness hitting our younger generation and others.

Under the duplicity of false adventurism and marketing strategy, these deleterious e-cigarettes are sold. Your 2 pieces remind me of the work of John Peter Zenger who in the Revolutionary era did not fear the imperial power of England in his fight against injustice. He served the best interests of this blessed land with an enduring journalistic conscience. He warned Colonial America that the press ought to serve the best interests of the local and national community.

Again, I am reminded of Mark’s Dad’s courage in exposing the black Baptist church burning years ago and his strong protests against SC corporate scandals.

Mark has my full appreciation, for his great work in these articles and for showing the apple does not fall far from the tree.
