Earth Day appreciation

Lexington 2 schools marked Earth Day on Thursday, April 22, with a number of activities spanning math, science, art, and other subjects. At Busbee Creative Arts Academy, students planted tree seedlings as part of Power Plant SC; painted art celebrating how trees and lungs work together; calculated their carbon footprints; and created bird feeders with peanut butter and seeds.
